Laurie Konzelmann is Vice President, Claims.

Laurie joined Farmers of Salem in 1996 as a Casualty Claims Adjuster and assumed her current position as Vice President of Claims in 2009. She has acquired an extensive background in both property and casualty claims handling, beginning her career in 1984 with Allstate Insurance Company and then working for many years as a multi-line road adjuster for an independent adjusting company. Laurie specializes in Personal and Commercial Lines Property & Liability Claims Handling and Coverage Interpretation.

Laurie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science (now Thomas Jefferson University). She also completed the Allstate Property and Casualty Insurance Claims Schools. Laurie has been an invited as a guest speaker at various national claims conferences, including speaking on the topic of “Catastrophe Claims Handling Procedures in the Wake of Superstorm Sandy”. She is an active member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance, Loss Executives Association, and currently serves on the board of the South Jersey Claims Association.
